2022-23 Leadership Team
Our leadership team is made up of women who have said "yes" to serving in our MOPS ministry team. Our Steering Members prayerfully design the course of our year and organize and lead each position's role for the MOPS year. These women are the "glue" that bind our small groups together in connection, discussion, prayer, activities and so much more.
Lead Coordinator
Sarah Winkler
I have been married to my husband, Jeremy for 12 years and moved to Rock Hill from Virginia in 2014. We have a two-year-old daughter, Emmeline, and an anxious cat, Sylvia. I am a board-certified music therapist and prior to the birth of my daughter, I owned a private practice serving families of children with special needs. I now enjoy staying at home to raise my daughter. Originally from Pennsylvania, I prefer Southern winters to Northern ones, love to travel to new destinations, and read like it's my job. I am passionate about connecting with and supporting women to build community.
I will be filling the role of Lead Coordinator this year. As the coordinator, I will work with the rest of the steering team to plan, organize, and implement all MOPS activities and leadership. My goal is to create a space where every women feels valued, supported, and renewed.

Mentor Mom Coordinator
Lori Keller
My wonderful husband and I will be celebrating our 36th anniversary in August. We have a married 30 year old son, a married 31 year old daughter and a granddaughter who turns 1 this December. We had two weddings and the birth of our first grandchild from April 2021 to April 2022, needless to say it was a busy year for our family! My family is originally from Florida but we have lived in the Fort Mill/Rock Hill area for almost 19 years.
I was not involved with MOPS as a young mother, but have truly enjoyed serving as a mentor mom. I have no doubt I survived being a mother of a preschooler by the grace of God and enjoy sharing the lessons, joys and trials I experienced along the way. I am honored to serve as the Mentor Mom Coordinator this year. My role will be to coordinate the mentor moms for each of our tables and to serve as the mentor mom for our leadership team.

Discussion Leader Guides Coordinator
Jessica Roadcap
As this year's DGL I hope to help each of us find and feel like we apart of a community! In a group of peers, the DGL acts like the big sister. At meetings, I will help guide discussion: asking questions and trying to include each woman as much as possible. Outside of MOPS meetings, I will check in with the table moms to make sure everything is going okay, communicate with them and about MOPS announcements and sometimes organize play dates or other get togethers as wanted.
I am a mother of two fun loving girls and I am expecting a baby boy this October with my husband Toby. I am a SAHM and also help my husband run his HVAC business. I joined MOPS to find "my people" and plan on doing just that this year!

Finance Coordinator
Kyla Bays
I've been a MOPS mom since 2015, with a few years off. I'm a mom of 3 kids 16-9-2! All stages of life, I'm always on the go, most likely in leggings and a mom bun. I'm super excited for our 2022 MOP theme, "We Go Together" as friendship and motherhood are HARD, but so so needed! I'm happy to be your hot mess friend whenever you need one!

Membership Coordinator
Melissa Lorenz
I'm the Membership Coordinator. I am a first time mom of a one-year-old boy and have lived in Fort Mill since the beginning of 2021. I will be managing registration and maintaining all contact information for the local and national MOPS. I will also be working with Fort Mill Kids to make sure we can get as many kids into classrooms as possible.

Creative Activities Coordinators
Rachel Cameron
I am a Creative Activities Coordinator for the 2022-23 MOPS season. Together with the other Creative Activities Coordinator, I plan out the fun crafts we will do at MOPS meetings throughout the year. Our team also prepares the little decorative touches such as centerpieces for the tables.
I've lived in Fort Mill eight years, but the greater Charlotte area for about 20 years. My daughter, Landry, is starting Kindergarten this Fall at Doby's Bridge and I'm excited to see what this extra time means for me. I love reading, cooking, and getting sucked into binging Netflix shows. My family is active at St. Johns UMC (which is the church next door to where MOPS meets).

As we all have a journey in life, I’m thankful that mine has brought me to MOPS. I’m a mother/wife of a beautiful blended family with two boys and a daughter. I have a desire in life to help, connect, and love others with sharing my journey and learning through theirs too! Being apart of this organization you can do just that. As I team up with Rachel on crafts, we’re excited to build community through creativity. I look forward to meeting you!

Hospitality Coordinator
Katie Cottingham
I love creating a backdrop for my friends and family to gather, celebrate, and connect, and I'm excited to put that passion to good use as MOPS Hospitality Coordinator this year! This will be my third year in MOPS, and I've gained some great mama friends through this community of women. I can't wait to see what this year holds for us!

Kids Coordinator
Dee Mitchell
I am a SC native hailing from Hilton Head Island and moving to Fort Mill by way of Columbia where in 2014 I graduated from the University of SC and I have been in Fort Mill ever since. I embrace my roles as a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I wholeheartedly believe that love conquers all and I strive daily to live like Jesus. In my downtime I enjoy outdoor walks, listening to music, reading and pampering myself with a pedicure or massage.
As the MOPS Kids Coordinator I am honored to support the program by providing a fun, God centered environment for children to play and learn while their Mothers get the chance to socialize, network, learn and grow in their faith and parenting.

Publicity Coordinator
Lindsay Gibson
I am the publicity coordinator. I have lived in Rock Hill for 2 years, but I am originally from Charleston which is where my husband and I met. I have been married to my husband for 12 years. We have an 8-year-old daughter, 4-year-old daughter, and 1-year-old son. I will be in charge of sending out mass emails to our members throughout the year, maintaining our social media presence, and occasionally filling in to communicate with our DGLs.
Technology Coordinator
Melanie Winfield
I am the Technology Coordinator for this season of MOPS. I first joined Fort Mill MOPS in 2020 after moving to Fort Mill from the Philadelphia area (although I grew up on Long Island, New York). I have been married to my husband, Andrew, for 8 years and we have a 4-year-old and 2-year-old. I will be in charge of updating this website and helping with the sound and media during meetings.
We moved here right at the start of Covid and meeting people was rather difficult. But MOPS gave me a place to connect and meet other moms and I am looking forward to connecting with more local moms this year!
